I am happy to present to you a renovated website of the Embassy of India, Sana'a. The website attempts to provides all information about services provided by this Embassy, as well as an overview on India-Yemen relationship. It also has link-ups with all important Government of India websites as well as other economic, commercial and cultural websites, which give information on India.
India and Yemen have age old cordial and friendly relationship. Trade between India and Yemen exceeds $ 2 billion (excluding oil). Both India and Yemen are involved in bilateral discussions on further improving trade and investments in both countries. Today, there are more than 100,000 Yemenis of Indian origin based in Aden and about 200,000 Indians of Yemeni origin, most of them based in Hyderabad. The Indian NRIs/PIOs are around 10,000 in number, working at different levels, both in government and private sectors. Linkages to community-related websites and Indian School websites are also included in Embassy's portal.
